The Adidas has just announced its new product, the Energy Boost™ running shoes. Adidas known to be the leading sport brand in the world and a global leader within the sporting goods industry, offering a broad range of product around its core brands: adidas, Reebok, TaylorMade, Rockport and Reebok-CCM Hockey.

The release of their new product says it’s going to revolutionize the sports of running with its new technology the “ENERGY BOOST™. The innovation is centered on a proprietary cushioning material BOOST™, this material will allow the runner to feel continuous energy return, and this could mean an increase in your stride length. Increase in stride means increase in distance traveled. The impressive cushioning effect of this material will also help runners cushion every time your foot lands on the ground therefore reduces leg injury.

The material has also been proven to hold its performance even in the harshest condition, even three times more temperature-resistant than the standard EVA material. EVA is short for Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, extremely elastic and have excellent toughness. If this is better than EVA then this would provide a more consistent and comfortable run than any existing shoes on the market today.

WOW, what a bold way to say it, if this is true then we might have a great shoe that could perhaps surpass all existing shoe in the market, I will not be surprise if runners would dub this “the running shoes on steroid” and the best part is, it’s practically legal.

Adidas did not just stop on boosting your run. Energy BOOST™ also goes beyond the revolutionary midsole technology. The upper on the Energy BOOST™ features Adidas techfit technology, which provides optimal comfort and support to the entire foot while in motion.

More features include a special mid-foot support frame, an extended TORSION® system to minimize roll for more stability, adiwear outsole to reduce wear in key soles areas and an external heel counter to maximize the heel fit and comfort.

The Adidas Energy Boost™ is miCoach compatible, it is a training tool developed by Adidas, this works in three part system with a stride sensor, a heart monitor, and a receiver that talks to you. It is practically a personal virtual coach.

Adidas Energy Boost™ retails at Php 7995 and will be available for pre-order at adidasboost.com from 15^th until 24^th of February. Pre-ordered pair will then be ready for pick up on the 27^th of February at adidas Bonifacio Global City.
